A Week of Wins, Insights and Emerging Talents at No-Dig Down Under 2025!

Our team was out in full force at No-Dig Down Under 2025 in Melbourne last week, showcasing our HDD expertise and connecting with industry leaders, clients, and suppliers.

Technical Leadership
John Stuart-Robertson, HDI Lucas General Manager, and John Rutherford, our HDD Operations Manager, both presented whitepapers, sharing insights into emerging technologies and the challenges faced by the industry, sparking great conversations around the future of trenchless technology.

Awards Win
We were honoured to receive the New Installation Project of the Year Award for the Jansz IO HDD Project, a technically complex and environmentally sensitive project that pushed the boundaries of trenchless innovation. As John Rutherford shared, “This recognition reflects the immense efforts of the entire team. The entrepreneurship, team spirit and innovations trialled were paramount to the project’s success and should be celebrated by everyone involved.”

Rising Stars
Special shout-out to our next generation of emerging leaders, Cooper Murray and Wisam Omer, who won Best Technical Poster Presentation and will now be sponsored to attend the ASTT in Auckland next year! Their work received excellent feedback and highlighted the depth of talent within our team.
